Steelcase in San Pedro Garza García, NL, is seeking an Accounting Intern to support daily accounting and finance activities. You will participate in cost analysis, import cost splitting and booking, inventory analysis, and vendor booking corrections, along with account reconciliations and reporting with supporting documentation.

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Accounting with expected graduation December 2027 or later.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• General knowledge of Mexican tax law and accounting processes.

Responsabilidades

• Participate in manual costing processes.
• Analyze and split import costs and book import costs.
• Analyze inventory of finished goods and correct vendor bookings.
• Assist in account reconciliation and elaboration of supporting reports.
• Review electronic invoices and assist SoP elaboration.

We are hiring an Accounting Intern who will be supporting in everyday accounting and finance activities.

As an intern, you will be doing:

• Participate on manual costing process.
• Analysis and split of import costs.
• Booking of imports costs.
• Analysis of inventory finished goods.
• Analysis and correction of other vendors inventory bookings.
• Participate on account reconciliation process.
• Elaborate reports to explain account balances including supporting documentation.
• Electronic Invoice review.
• SoP elaboration

Who you are:

• Currently studying a bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• To graduate at least in December 2027 or later.
• Availability to work from 8am to 5pm or 7am to 4pm.
• Advanced English level.
• General knowledge of Mexican tax law.
