Steelcase is seeking a qualified Designer to translate health research into innovative healthcare environments. You will create space plans, renderings, and technical drawings, collaborating with sales teams, dealers, architects, and internal partners to meet project timelines.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Interior/Architecture, 2+ years of experience, and proficiency with SketchUp/Enscape/AutoCAD/Revit/Adobe CC.

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Industrial Design, Architecture or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional design experience in interior design or related environments.
• Experience creating conceptual and technical deliverables (renderings, drawings, specs, space plans).
• Ability to read architectural/construction drawings and apply them to design solutions.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.

Responsabilidades

• Develop healthcare-focused product application concepts using Steelcase Health research and best practices.
• Design and specify healthcare environments with space planning, renderings, drawings, and BOM docs.
• Collaborate with sales teams, dealers, architects, designers, and internal partners to define project requirements, timelines and deliverables.
• Apply healthcare product knowledge to create thoughtful, clinically appropriate solutions for connected care experiences.
• Manage project information, timelines, and updates using CRM tools and maintain documentation.
• Support product marketing, showroom teams, and others with design expertise and application development.
• Develop team resources and knowledge sharing to improve efficiency.

You’ll Support Meaningful Work By

• Managing project information, timelines, and status updates through CRM tools while maintaining accurate project documentation.
• Supporting product marketing, showroom teams, and other internal partners with design expertise and application development.
• Developing and curating team resources, knowledge-sharing materials, and best practices to strengthen team capabilities and efficiency.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Industrial Design, Architecture, or a related discipline from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional design experience in interior design, architecture, or related environments.
• Experience creating both conceptual and technical design deliverables, including renderings, drawings, specifications, and space plans.
• Ability to interpret and apply architectural and construction drawings in the development of design solutions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Proficiency with design and visualization software such as SketchUp, Enscape, AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Creative Cloud applications, or similar tools.
• Demonstrated skills in space planning, rendering, graphic presentation, and design thinking.

Work Arrangement

This position is based in Monterrey and follows a hybrid work arrangement. Team members are expected to work onsite during their first three months to support onboarding and training. Following this period, employees may work a schedule of three full days in the office and two days remotely, or four half-days onsite each week, based on team recommendations and business needs.
