Steelcase is seeking a skilled Purchasing/Procurement professional to analyze supplier pricing, costs and data to drive informed business decisions. You will manage supplier relationships, support negotiations, and coordinate cross-functional initiatives to ensure continuity of supply and optimize costs.

The role requires 5 years in purchasing or related fields, strong Excel skills and ERP experience, plus advanced English.

Formación

• 5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, supply chain, sourcing, operations, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and provide practical business recommendations.
• Experience using Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
• Experience working with ERP systems and purchasing processes.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with suppliers and cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Operations, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Advanced English

You’ll Support Meaningful Work By:

• Analyzing supplier pricing, purchasing data, cost information, and related records to support informed business decisions.
• Supporting quote development, pricing analysis, cost reviews, and implementation of supplier pricing changes across company systems.
• Building and maintaining productive supplier relationships while supporting negotiations and cost management initiatives.
• Reviewing procurement-related expenditures, including supplier costs, freight expenses, tariffs, surcharges, and other cost drivers to identify improvement opportunities.
• Coordinating with cross-functional teams to support product changes, operational initiatives, discontinuations, and customer requirements.
• Developing reports, metrics, and analyses that support operational performance, continuous improvement, and strategic decision-making.
• Managing assigned suppliers, commodities, projects, product lines, or business initiatives while ensuring continuity of supply and execution of purchasing activities.

Minimum Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, supply chain, sourcing, operations, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and provide practical business recommendations.

• Experience working with ERP systems and purchasing processes.
