Eaton is seeking an Accounting Analyst in Querétaro to support monthly closing, balance sheet reconciliations, and tax compliance. You will manage cash applications, journal entries, and hedging analyses while ensuring accurate VAT reporting.

The role requires 2-3 years of general accounting experience, a Bachelor degree in Accounting, and English conversational skills. Collaboration with internal controls and process improvements is encouraged.

Eaton’s Corporate Sector division is currently seeking a Accounting Analyst.What you’ll do:Perform and support the monthly closing process, prepare Balance sheet Reconciliations BSR (AP,accruals, taxes, etc),various journal entries , accruals, Cash aplication, Bank transactions recording and reconciliation,creation of accounts payables for some services, etc.Job Responsibilities1. General accounting procedures and perform the monthly closing process for Sites.2. Review and validate the cash application for the invoices collected during the month.3. Prepare balance sheet reconciliations every month for different balance accounts.4. Prepare on a monthly basis the income and expenses reconciliation.5. Register and analysis for Hedges on a monthly basis.6. Ensure the accuracy for taxes recorded, mainly VAT.7. Generate on a monthly basis the complement of payment for all invoices collected to comply with tax requirements.8. Review Treasury, ICA & ZBA. Ensure correct recording and Reconciliation .9. Prepare the accruals for beneffits such as EPS, Estate Tax and Insurances.10. Support and/or lead department activities related to process improvements and standard work.11. Maintain an atmosphere of teamwork and continuous improvement to achieve departmental and GFSS goals. Support site, functional or corporate initiatives.12. Collaborate with the Internal Control Audit and Statutory Audits for the sites and activities under the scope.13. Other activities assigned by supervisor or special requirements from management or company.14.
