Ericsson Mexico City is seeking a Packet Core Integration Engineer to serve as a Resident Engineer and trusted technical contact for customers in the United States and Canada, supporting 4G and 5G Packet Core deployments with emphasis on SMF and UPF nodes.

You will work with Linux, TCP/IP, containers, Kubernetes, and virtualization to enable data connectivity across mobile networks, collaborating with architects, testers, and global teams; travel may be required.

Formación

• Degree in engineering or related field.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Experience with 4G/5G Packet Core deployments and call flows.
• Hands-on with SGSN-MME and Evolved Packet Gateway deployments and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with SMF/UPF deployment and upgrades.
• Experience working with external customers.

Responsabilidades

• Provide technical service delivery and integration support to operators in the United States and Canada.
• Act as Resident Engineer and primary technical contact for external customers.
• Perform end-to-end deployment, configuration, rollout, and troubleshooting for 4G/5G Packet Core solutions.
• Work with SMF and UPF nodes in deployments and evolution activities.
• Apply Linux, TCP/IP networking, containerization, Kubernetes, and virtualization to enable data connectivity and services.
• Collaborate with architects, testers, and distributed global teams to deliver high-quality results.
• Promote automation and knowledge sharing across teams.
