Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Data Center Technician to join its Infrastructure Operations team. The role focuses on hardware and network diagnostics, followed by physical repair, with participation in on-call rotations. Candidates should work well independently and in teams, with strong prioritization and communication.

The team keeps AWS data centers running 24/7, building documentation and innovative solutions while resolving issues quickly to meet service levels.

Formación

• 2+ years of computer hardware troubleshooting and repair experience.
• 1+ years of data center experience.
• 2+ years of computer networking experience.
• Can lift and rack equipment up to 40 pounds.

Responsabilidades

• Experience working in a Data Center environment
• Understanding of network design, protocols and troubleshooting.
• Understanding of storage devices.
• Experience in Hardware diagnostics and repair.
• Software installation and configuration.
• Experience managing work and priorities through a ticketing system
