Job summary

Majid Al Futtaim is seeking a Store Manager for our Hypermarket Kuwait to lead all store operations, drive sales growth and ensure customer satisfaction through effective stock management and adherence to company standards.

You will develop and coach department managers, manage inventory, optimize pricing and merchandising, and uphold health and safety, with a strong focus on profitability and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of retail operations experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role within hypermarkets or large-format retail.
• Strong commercial acumen with proven experience in driving sales and profitability.
• Excellent leadership, people management, and team development skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute hypermarket operational and commercial strategies in alignment with company objectives.
• Drive sales growth, profitability, and operational efficiency while maintaining cost control within approved budgets.
• Monitor commercial performance through data analysis and implement corrective actions to improve results.
• Oversee inventory management, stock availability, replenishment, and shrinkage reduction initiatives.
• Ensure pricing, promotions, and merchandising standards are implemented according to company guidelines.
• Maintain high standards of customer service, store presentation, hygiene, safety, and security.
• Develop, coach, and manage department managers and store teams to enhance performance and succession planning.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, operational procedures, health and safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
