Job summary

Majid Al Futtaim in Kuwait is recruiting a Team Leader - Grocery for our Hypermarket to drive quality, range and freshness while achieving sales targets. The role motivates the team, addresses issues swiftly, and coaches colleagues to deliver outstanding customer service in the assigned section.

You will oversee pricing policy, product assortment, supplier promotions, and waste control, ensuring timely orders, stock rotation, and a strong customer experience in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Commerce or Finance required.
• 3+ years in Retail operations role.
• Pleasant and warm disposition with a customer service orientation.
• Clear communicator.
• People oriented and able to build team spirit and motivation.
• Detail oriented and accurate in execution.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and implement the commercial policy for store pricing.
• Oversee the products assortment in the section.
• Negotiate internal promotions with suppliers to enforce the image of discount inside the section.
• Monitor the NPS in the section and work on improving areas that need development.
• Provide input on price image and freshness image.
• Oversee and implement initiatives to ensure lowest waste and shrinkage ratio and control waste items report.
• Control orders and follow up on deliveries.
• Identify slow moving items and stock depreciation to push their sales before expiry.
