Job summary

CODED in Kuwait City is seeking a Business Development Officer to turn conversations into signed deals. You will own small to mid-size opportunities from first contact through proposal, pitch, negotiation, and close, with larger deals led by the BD Manager.

You will craft clear, persuasive, technically accurate proposals in professional English, translate client problems into scoped programs, and maintain a reusable proposal library.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years in business development, sales, consulting, or a proposal/bid role.
• Excellent written English — non-negotiable and tested.
• Genuine comfort with technical vocabulary: software engineering, AI, cybersecurity, and data.

Responsibilities

• Identify and research target Kuwaiti/GCC corporates and government entities.
• Run structured outreach — email, LinkedIn, calls, events — to open new conversations.
• Own small-size deals end to end: qualify, propose, pitch, negotiate, close.
