The Role

We are seeking an innovative and strategic Communications Director to drive high-impact media coverage and craft compelling narratives that resonate with diverse audiences, including customers, investors, government officials, partners, and employees. As the key communicator for Kyndryl Italy, you will work closely with our Country President and senior leadership team and be pivotal in upgrading and leading our communication efforts.

Key responsibilities include :

1. Strategic Partnership : Serve as a strategic business and communication partner to the President in Italy, understanding local needs and designing the communication strategy accordingly.
2. Support Leadership : Assist the President with internal and external communications, ensuring consistent and impactful messaging.
3. Thought Leadership : Develop and craft compelling articles, speeches, social media content, etc., demonstrating Kyndryl’s differentiated thinking on secular trends and key themes driving digital transformation.
4. Media Leadership : Lead top communication initiatives in the media to enhance our public presence and influence.
5. Effective Communication : Ensure that Kyndryl and Kyndryl Italy's messages are effectively communicated to employees, fostering a cohesive internal culture.
6. Content Development : Manage regular communications such as email updates and content creation, ensuring timely and engaging delivery.
7. Team Management : Oversee a team of one person and collaborate with agencies to amplify our reach.
8. Senior Leadership Collaboration : Work closely with senior leaders and the President, demonstrating strong internal and external communication skills.
9. Startup Environment : Thrive in a growing, fast-paced startup environment within our rapidly expanding Italian organization.

Who You Are

1. Experience : Proven track record of working with top leaders in their organization.
2. People Management : Demonstrated ability to manage and inspire people.
3. Industry Insight : Ideally, bring experience from the same industry or related fields.
4. Resilience : Capability to handle stress and high workloads in a dynamic environment.
5. Language Skills : Proficiency in English and Italian.
6. Media Relations : Strong background in media relations and communication strategy.
