This client seeks a Senior Sales Manager for their expanding Air and Ocean Freight operations. The role involves working autonomously to develop new verticals, making it ideal for an ambitious individual in a dynamic environment, aiming to play a key role in the company's expansion.
Key Responsibilities :
- Sales Development : Drive growth of multiple products and freight sales strategies, ensuring business expansion in new and existing markets.
- Business Growth : Establish and grow new verticals, supporting the company's expansion in Italy.
- Client Relations : Build and maintain relationships with key clients, including those in sectors like food & beverage, project cargo, and luxury goods.
- Team Leadership : Support a small but growing team, fostering a collaborative sales culture.
- Market Expansion : Identify and pursue new business opportunities across Italy, with regional flexibility.
- Global Collaboration : Leverage knowledge of a global leader to drive new business and support the company's international presence.
Qualifications :
- Experience : Strong ocean freight background; air freight experience a plus; road transport experience beneficial.
- Specialisation : Experience in verticals like food & beverage, project cargo, or luxury goods advantageous.
- Location : Ideally based in Milan, Tuscany, Venice, Genoa, or Rome, with ability to grow business locally.
