American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) is seeking a Yachting Sector Business Development Lead to support the development and execution of the BD strategy for the yacht market across Europe. The role focuses on aligning client needs with ABS capabilities to drive growth and strengthen market presence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or recognized equivalent required.
• MBA or equivalent preferred.
• Seven years of related experience.
• Experience in yachts or maritime services is preferred.
• Experience in European yacht market is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Support BD plans for the yacht market to grow ABS’ presence.
• Identify opportunities across new build, refit, sustainability, digitalization.
• Build and maintain relationships with owners’ reps, builders, yards, designers.
• Partner with internal teams to support proposals and client engagement.
• Represent ABS in meetings, events, and forums to strengthen visibility.
• Monitor market trends and regulatory developments to inform strategy.
• Provide market insights to promote ABS services in the yacht sector.
• Support key account activities and promote ABS capabilities.
