Baker Hughes Company in Italy seeks an experienced Manufacturing Engineering Specialist to own and improve manufacturing processes for impeller production, with emphasis on welding and automation. You will lead new process development and collaborate across global teams to enhance safety, quality and productivity.

The role requires a Master’s in Engineering, fluency in Italian, basic English, and EU work authorization. On-site positions across the world with competitive benefits are offered.

Competenze

• Master Degree in Engineering from an accredited university.
• Good knowledge of welding technologies (Laser Welding) and its robotic application.
• Basic knowledge of machining.
• Basic knowledge of Turbomachinery components, CC Rotors.
• Health, Safety and Environmental practices awareness.
• Able to analyze problems, identify root causes and provide efficient solutions.
• Able to work across functions in a global-matrix environment.
• Italian language fluency, English knowledge basics; EU work permit.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Strong problem solving skills.

Mansioni

• Take care of technology selection, Shop Routings emission and Processes & Equipment improvement.
• Deal with Safety and Quality in manufacturing activities through risk-based thinking and full compliance to standards and policies.
• Lead the development and qualification of new processes in welding area.
• Evaluate manufacturing processes and shape strategic projects and initiatives to improve HSE, Quality, Processes Capabilities, Fulfillment and Productivity.
• Integrate digital transformation, advanced process capability and material handling concepts into the manufacturing processes.
• Direct labour cost control and handbook update to support commercial team for costs definition and offers.
• Support the New Product Development and New Energy Solution projects at Turbomachinery level, and their deployment within the Cell.
