Job summary

Salesforce Italy seeks a Regional Vice President, Central Government to lead the public sector business and a team of Senior Account Executives across ministries and central government accounts. Based in Rome or Milan with travel.

You will shape the GTM strategy, drive multi-year procurement-led programs, and position Salesforce, Data Cloud, MuleSoft and Tableau as trusted platforms for AI-powered public administration.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership of senior or strategic sellers in enterprise software or cloud platforms.
• Track record selling to Italian Central Government with executive relationships.
• Deep knowledge of Italian public procurement and budgeting cycles, including EU-funded programs.

Responsibilities

• Own Italy Central Government revenue plan and GTM strategy for Italy.
• Lead and coach Senior Account Executives to achieve quota and high-quality deals.
• Recruit, develop and retain top public sector sales talent with a strong bench.
• Engage as executive sponsor on strategic pursuits with senior government stakeholders.
• Coach through procurement cycles and public tenders, framework agreements.
• Collaborate across teams to align policy, security, legal and industry marketing.
• Provide accurate weekly forecast and maintain pipeline health.
