Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Regional Vice President, Central Government Italy, to own revenue strategy and lead a team of senior account executives across Italy’s most complex public sector accounts. You will drive multi-year, multi-stakeholder programs, coordinating with legal, policy, and security teams to position Salesforce as the trusted AI-powered platform for government modernization.

Qualifications

• Proven first or second line sales leadership experience, ideally leading senior or strategic sellers in enterprise software, SaaS or cloud platforms.
• Demonstrable track record selling to and within Italian Central Government, including ministries, national agencies and public bodies, with executive relationships.
• Fluency with Italian public procurement, guidelines, cloud qualification, security requirements, GDPR, and building deal strategy within constraints.

Responsibilities

• Own the Central Government revenue plan for Italy: growth strategy, territory and account coverage; deliver against ACV and pipeline targets.
• Lead, coach and grow a team of Senior Account Executives, ensuring high-quality deals and executive access across top government accounts.
• Recruit, develop and retain top-tier public sector sales talent; address capability gaps and craft credible hiring plans.
