alpitronic Americas LLC in Bolzano is looking for a qualified professional to promote and coordinate value engineering initiatives within the R&D department. The role involves driving development for cost reduction and leading cross-functional workshops to enhance value.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in electrical engineering or a related field, as well as proven experience in product development of electronic devices. Additional benefits include an attractive bonus system and opportunities for further training.

Competenze

• Degree in electrical engineering, electronics, mechatronics, or similar.
• Proven experience in product development and validation of electronic devices.
• Deep understanding of manufacturing processes and cost drivers.
• Proficiency in value engineering methodologies.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of Italian and/or German is an advantage.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Promote and coordinate value engineering initiatives within the R&D department
• Sponsor and drive development for value improvement, cost and complexity reduction
• Organize and lead technical cross-functional workshops, aimed at enhancing value and reducing costs
• Fertilize a culture of continuous improvement and value engineering inside the R&D and across departments
• Define & implement methodologies to understand strengths & weaknesses of different players
• Establish and improve tools for teardown analysis and idea generation

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

• Degree in electrical engineeering, electronics, mechatronics or similar
• Proven experience in product development and validation of electronic devices
• Deep understanding of manufacturing processes and cost drivers of electronic devices
• Proficiency in value engineering methodologies, leading complex value improvement projects
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Strong teamworking skills and ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical teams
• Leadership qualities to guide and motivate teams
• Fluent in English, Italian and/or German would be an advantage
