Saipem is seeking a Process Engineer to join the Energy Carriers (ENCAR) Business Line in Milan. You will develop heat and material balances, process flows, and P&IDs for onshore and offshore projects.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s or Bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering and has at least five years of Oil & Gas process engineering experience, including knowledge of HYSYS and related simulation tools.

Competenze

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or similar.
• 5 years of experience as a Process Engineer in Oil & Gas.

Mansioni

• Develop Heat and Material Balances using simulation software.
• Develop Process Flow diagrams.
• Define and size Equipment and Instrumentation and prepare Process Data sheets and Package Duty Specification.
• Elaborate P&IDs.
• Define Systems Utilities and Offsites (Steam and power generation, combustion feeds, flare and blowdown, heat transfer fluids).
• Define Primary and waste water systems.

Purpose of the position

Process Engineer, you will respond to the Process and Technologies Function and be part of the Energy Carriers (ENCAR) Business Line.

Responsibilities

• Develop Heat and Material Balances using simulation software
• Develop Process Flow diagrams
• Define and size Equipment and Instrumentation and prepare relevant Process Data sheets and Package Duty Specification
• Elaborate Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs)
• Define Systems Utilities and Offsites (Steam and power generation, Combustion feeds, flare and blowdown, Heat transfer fluids)
• Define Primary and waste water systems

What are we looking for?

Education

Master’s Degree or Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or similar

Experience

5 years as a Process Engineer within the Oil & Gas industry

Technical/IT Skills

Knowledge of main simulation software (HYSYS, Flare System Analyzer, Flaresim, Pipenet)

What else should you know?

You will have the opportunity to travel abroad based on the projects you will work for and within the assigned project/vessel/yard, etc.
