Job summary

Saipem is seeking a Process Engineer to join the ENCAR – Energy Carriers line in Italy. The role involves design criteria, PFDs/P&IDs, equipment and instrument sizing, and support for HAZID/HAZOP reviews. Travel within EMEA/Worldwide is possible.

Requirements include a Master’s or Bachelor's in Chemical Engineering and 1–2 years’ upstream O&G experience, with fluency in Italian and English. Hybrid work model in Fano, Italy with a permanent contract.

Qualifications

• Master's or bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or similar field.
• 1–2 years as a Process Engineer in Upstream O&G (onshore).
• Languages: Italian and English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Process Design Criteria, Design Basis, and operating philosophies.
• Run process simulations and balance heat & material.
• Develop PFDs and P&IDs; size equipment and instruments.
