Job summary

Saipem is seeking an Oil and Gas Process Engineer Junior for the ENCAR - Energy Carriers line in Fano. You will contribute to process design, simulations, and sizing of equipment while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in a hybrid work model.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s in Chemical Engineering with 1–2 years upstream O&G experience, and can support design reviews, HV balancing, and utility integration. Travel within EMEA and beyond is expected.

Qualifications

• Master's or equivalent in Chemical Engineering or related.
• 1–2 years of process engineering experience in Upstream O&G onshore.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Process Design Criteria, Design Basis, and operating philosophies.
• Develop PFDs and P&IDs; size equipment and prepare datasheets.
• Conduct heat and material balances; assist with process calculations (hydraulics, line sizing, utilities).
• Support HAZID/HAZOP reviews and interface with licensors.
