Job summary

Saipem invites applications for a Piping and Layout Lead to join the ENCAR team in Italy. You will develop plant plot plans, route piping, and perform material take-offs for diverse energy projects including LNG, hydrogen, geothermal, biorefineries, and FPSO.

The position requires a Master's or Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, 10 years of experience with 5 in a lead role, and willingness to travel. Hybrid working model and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
• 10 years of experience with 5 years in a Lead role.
• Willingness to travel domestically or abroad.
• Experience in piping design, materials, and execution.

Responsibilities

• Develop plant plot plans and route piping per diagrams.
• Take-offs of piping material quantities from diagrams and plot plans.
• Interpret technical specifications and identify critical aspects.
• Lead module design and assess transportation impacts.
• Monitor budgets, change orders, and variations from baseline.
• Coordinate technical discussions with internal and external stakeholders.
• Define project execution strategy and monitor progress.
