Job summary

Sidel in Verona seeks an experienced Mechanical Engineer for field support of Tunnel equipment, including bottlewashers, pasteurizers, crate washers, coolers and warmers. You will troubleshoot issues, perform RCAs, and support installations, FATs and site qualifications with a focus on reliability and performance.

The role covers on-site and workshop activities, collaboration with regional teams, and driving improvements through field data.

Qualifications

Degree or technical qualification with at least three years' experience in technical assistance, field work or engineering on tunnel or process machines.
Knowledge of bottlewashers and pasteurizers; experience assembling and testing complex machinery.
Customer-oriented, proactive and organized; strong troubleshooting and autonomous work.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot Tunnel and related equipment; conduct root-cause analysis to support recovery and corrective actions.
Develop and maintain field methods for installation, qualification, technical analysis, repair and maintenance; support retrofits where needed.
Support FAT, installation, start-up, validation, commissioning and service for L3/L4 equipment, including prototype qualification.
Collaborate with Regional Product Support and other teams on technical issues, product modifications and variants, including on-site qualification.
Share clear technical reports and insights to strengthen expertise and cross-team communication.
