Job summary

Sidel in Verona, Italy, is seeking a Technical Support Mechanical Expert to ensure Tunnel equipment performance across line configurations. You will liaise with cross-functional teams and support bottlewashers, pasteurizers, crate washers, coolers and warmers, enabling reliable operation.

Based in Verona, you will join the Product Support Back Office and report to the Technical Support Manager. You’ll troubleshoot issues, perform RCA, support FAT, installation, start-up, validation and on-site

Qualifications

• A degree in Mechanical Engineering and/or a technical qualification.
• At least three years' experience in technical assistance, field work or engineering on tunnel or process machines.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot Tunnel and associated trade equipment, investigating issues and carrying out root-cause analysis (RCA) to support recovery and corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain practical field methods for installation, qualification, technical analysis, repair and maintenance; support the application of retrofits where needed.
• Support factory acceptance testing (FAT), installation, start-up, validation, commissioning and service for L3/L4 equipment, including prototype qualification in the workshop.
• Work with Regional Product Support and other relevant teams on technical issues, product modifications and variants, including on-site qualification.
• Share clear technical reports and insights to strengthen expertise, analysis and communication across teams.
