Job summary

EFI is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join our Service Team in Comun Nuovo (BG), Italy. The role focuses on on-site and remote technical support for textile printers, with significant travel across Europe to customer sites and trade shows.

You will train operators and collaborate with R&D and service teams to improve equipment performance. Based in the Bergamo area, you will troubleshoot electromechanical systems, calibrate machines, and assist at exhibitions.

Qualifications

Technical degree or equivalent in Mechatronics or related field.
Fluent English (written and spoken).
Strong problem solving and communication skills.
Willingness to travel Europe and abroad for extended periods.
Experience with commissioning industrial machinery is advantageous.
Knowledge of textile printing products is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Travel extensively throughout Europe and to customer sites worldwide.
Provide end-to-end technical support to global customers.
Provide on-site technical support for inkjet and textile printers.
Support trade shows and exhibitions, including setup and calibration, demonstrations, and tear-down.
Deliver end-user training at operator level.
Provide technical feedback to Italian R&D and Service teams.
