EFI is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join our Service Team in Comun Nuovo (BG), Italy. The role focuses on on-site and remote technical support for textile printers, with significant travel across Europe to customer sites and trade shows.

You will train operators and collaborate with R&D and service teams to improve equipment performance. Based in the Bergamo area, you will troubleshoot electromechanical systems, calibrate machines, and assist at exhibitions.

Qualificações

• Technical degree or equivalent in Mechatronics or related field.
• Fluent English (written and spoken).
• Strong problem solving and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel Europe and abroad for extended periods.
• Experience with commissioning industrial machinery is advantageous.
• Knowledge of textile printing products is advantageous.

EFI is looking for a Field Service Engineer to join our Business Unit in Comun Nuovo (BG), Italy.

To strengthen the EFI Reggiani Service Team within our traditional textile printing division, we are looking for a dynamic and customer-oriented Field Service Engineer. The ideal candidate should be based in the Bergamo area and have a strong passion for engineering, troubleshooting, and servicing complex electromechanical equipment.

Main Duties And Responsibilities

• This position requires extensive travel throughout Europe and to customer sites worldwide.
• Provide end-to-end technical support to our global customer base.
• Provide on-site technical support for our inkjet and conventional textile printers.
• Support trade shows and exhibitions, including machine setup and calibration, demonstrations, and tear-down activities.
• Deliver end-user training at operator level.
• Provide technical feedback and recommendations to the Italian R&D and Service teams.

Job Requirements

• Technical degree or equivalent experience in Mechatronics (mechanical and electrical) or a related technical field.
• Knowledge of textile printing products and chemical processes is considered an advantage.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Strong interest in computer technology and machine calibration.
• Knowledge of basic electronic skills.
• Experience in commissioning industrial machinery is considered a strong advantage.
• Proficiency with personal computers and Microsoft Windows operating systems is required.
• Strong communication skills, customer focus, and a proactive approach to problem solving.
• Availability to travel extensively, often at short notice. The candidate must be available to travel abroad for periods of 2 to 4 consecutive weeks, for approximately 6 to 8 months per year.
