Job summary

Amex GBT in Vicenza, Italy, is seeking a travel support professional to create and manage travel arrangements (car, hotel, air, rail) for moderately complex accounts. You will ensure reservations meet client standards, advise on the best traveler experience with informed recommendations, and resolve moderately complex itineraries and fare issues with accuracy and care.

English fluency is required; a second language is a plus, and experience with GDS Sabre is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years industry experience preferred or a strong customer service background.
• English fluent – written and spoken.
• 2nd language a plus.
• Good travel industry knowledge.
• Capable of working with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Creates and completes travel arrangements (car, hotel, air, rail) for moderately complex accounts
• Ensures reservations are built according to client standards and preferences
• Acts as a trusted advisor by offering informed and insightful recommendations which provide the best traveler experience in each situation
• Resolves moderately complex problems with potentially non-standard and multi destinations, ticket exchanges and complex fares
• Assignments include both routine and non-routine work
• May be required to assist with department related projects and implementations (clean-up, startup, closeout, etc.)

What You'll Do
