Job summary

Nordson Precision Agriculture in Rubiera, Italy, seeks a Time and Methods Supervisor to drive productivity by optimizing work methods and production standards. You will lead the Time & Methods function, deliver improvement projects, and work with cross-functional teams to enhance efficiency on the shop floor.

You will guide two experienced colleagues, spend time on the floor observing processes, and ensure changes are economically justified and aligned with the business case.

Qualifications

• Proven Time & Methods or time studies in manufacturing.
• Leadership experience of ~3–5 years preferred.
• Strong Excel skills with large data sets.
• Project-management capability coordinating stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead Time & Methods department and mentor two senior team members.
• Define, maintain and improve production standards and cycles.
• Conduct time studies and analyze methods, material movement and value creation on the shop floor.
• Identify improvement opportunities and validate with data-driven analysis.
• Plan and manage productivity projects with manufacturing stakeholders.
• Develop economics for improvement and ROI for projects.
• Monitor outcomes vs. budget and business case.
• Contribute to line balancing and efficient work organization.
• Collaborate with Production, Logistics, HSE, Industrialisation, Moulding and Planning.
• Promote Lean Manufacturing and proactive problem solving.
