Job summary

Nordson Precision Agriculture in Rubiera, Italy, is seeking a Testing Manager to lead and transform the testing and validation function across software, hardware, system, field and regulatory domains. This role partners with R&D, engineering and project teams to deliver robust validation and timely releases.

The position requires strong leadership, deep knowledge of testing methodologies, and experience managing diverse testing teams in an international environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience leading a testing, validation or quality-related organisation or department.
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, validation processes and continuous improvement practices.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience driving process improvements and implementing structured ways of working.
• English language at B2 level or higher.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate testing and validation activities across software, hardware, system, field and certification testing functions.
• Manage and develop testing teams while fostering collaboration across different testing disciplines.
• Define, improve and standardise testing methodologies, processes and validation frameworks.
• Support the planning and execution of validation activities throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Ensure products are validated effectively and released within agreed project timelines.
• Collaborate with R&D, Software, Mechanical Engineering, Project Management and Regulatory stakeholders.
• Drive organisational improvements and support integration of testing functions into a coordinated structure.
• Manage external testing partners and laboratories when specialised validation support is required.
• Contribute to future growth plans by assessing team capabilities and long-term testing strategy.
