Job summary

Nordson Precision Agriculture in Rubiera, Italy, is seeking a Testing Manager to lead the newly created testing and validation organisation. You will unite software, hardware, system, field and certification testing under a single vision, shaping how products are validated and released.

You will develop people, drive transformation, and partner with R&D, regulatory, and global teams to accelerate product development and implement structured testing methodologies across the organization.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a testing/quality function.
• Proven people leadership with technical teams.
• Strong testing methodologies and validation processes.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication.
• Experience driving process improvements.
• English at B2 level or higher.

Responsibilities

• Lead testing and validation across software, hardware, system, field, and certification.
• Develop and manage testing teams; foster cross-discipline collaboration.
• Define and standardize testing methodologies and validation frameworks.
• Plan and execute validation activities throughout product lifecycle.
• Ensure on-time validation and release against project timelines.
• Improve facilities, equipment, tools, and capabilities.
• Collaborate with R&D, software, mechanical engineering, PM, and regulatory.
• Drive organizational improvements and unify testing functions.
• Manage external testing partners and labs when needed.
• Contribute to long-term testing strategy and team growth.
