Mavenir is seeking an experienced field and on-site support engineer to install, diagnose, and optimize complex networking equipment for customers.

You will work with Linux, IP networking, virtualization, Kubernetes and Docker, perform system upgrades, analyze logs, and provide 24x7 on-call support when required. Travel to international customers is expected and collaboration with sales and engineering teams is essential.

Competenze

• Strong analytical thinking and ability to interpret customer needs.
• Solid networking knowledge including IP networks and wireless/core architectures.
• Willingness to travel to abroad to customers and work at customer sites.
• Experience with installing, upgrading and configuring computer hardware and software; good virtualization experience.

Mansioni

• Deploy products to customer systems (onsite or remote).
• Provide cross-product support including complex system recovery.
• Analyze log files to assist in problem identification and resolution.
• Diagnose and isolate complex cross-product interworking issues and third-party problems.
• Own and handle customer support requests in line with SLAs; ensure SLAs are met.
• Propose, review, approve and implement changes on systems in deployment or support phase.
• Recommend product/process improvements to product development team.
• Participates in 24x7 on-call coverage during out-of-office hours.
