Job summary

Redline Group is recruiting a Technical Sales Engineer for a global leader in electronic component distribution, to support growth of the Test & Measurement business in Italy. The role suits someone with a technical electronics background, gained via degree or hands-on experience, with optional early sales exposure.

Fluent Italian and good English are required, along with strong communication and a proactive, career-driven mindset. Hybrid working available with two days remote.

Qualifications

• Background in electronics or electrical engineering through a university degree or hands-on industry experience.
• Some experience in sales, business development or a customer-facing role.
• Fluent Italian and good English language skills.
• Strong communication skills, commercial awareness and an interest in technical sales.
• Proactive, organised and motivated with a desire to develop a long-term sales career.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities across Italy.
• Proactively generate leads and expand market share.
• Manage and grow customer relationships and existing accounts.
• Promote Test & Measurement products and technical solutions.
• Collaborate with internal sales and technical teams to maximise opportunities.
• Maintain sales pipelines and report on commercial activity.
