Job summary

DNV in Italy is seeking a Food & Beverage Sales Area Manager to set up and grow the F&B sector in the assigned territory, implementing the local business plan in line with the group’s strategy.

You will travel as needed, operate in a hybrid environment, and drive customer relationships, sales targets, and market positioning in collaboration with the Italy & Croatia Business Assurance unit.

Qualifications

• Educated to business or scientific university degree level.
• Previous experience of minimum 3 years working in sales and customer management and a strong business sense.
• Knowledge of certification services, especially in Food Industry will be considered a preferential requirement.
• Italian mother tongue and Fluent English (both written and spoken).
• Experience in CERTIFICATION BODY.
• Strong commercial attitude, dynamic, goals-oriented, proactive approach.
• High level of business acumen, including an understanding of the customer’s business drivers, industry, economic trends, issues and competition.
• Availability to travel.

Responsibilities

• Set up and develop the F&B sector in the assigned area in order to meet BA's and DNV F&B sector’s requirements.
• Implement and develop the F&B business plan for the assigned area.
• Define and implement plans and actions to meet sales, revenue, operating margin, retention and service quality targets for the F&B sector.
• Develop local market and promote relationships with customers in the territory.
