Job summary

DNV in Italy is seeking a Food & Beverage Sales Area Manager to set up and develop the F&B sector in the assigned area, meeting BA's and DNV F&B sector’s requirements. You will implement and develop the F&B business plan for the assigned area, collaborating with local teams and customers.

You will promote local market growth, strengthen customer relationships, and support the F&B Sales Manager Italy by analyzing market trends and refining practices to improve market positioning.

Qualifications

• Educated to business or scientific university degree level.
• Minimum 3 years in sales and customer management.
• Knowledge of certification services, especially in Food Industry.
• Italian mother tongue and fluent English (written and spoken).
• Experience in CERTIFICATION BODY is preferred.
• Availability to travel.

Responsibilities

• Implement and develop the F&B business plan for the assigned area.
• Meet targets for sales, revenue, operating margin and customer retention.
• Develop local market and relationships with customers in the assigned territory.

About The Role

Food & Beverage Sales Area Manager shall ensure the set up and the development of F&B sector in the assigned area in order to meet BA's and DNV F&B sector’s requirements. Belonging to Business Assurance Area Italy & Croatia organization, the candidate will be responsible for implementing and developing the F&B business plan for the assigned area.

What we offer

• Ensure that the DNV F&B sector strategy and policies are implemented at local level and managed, limited to the pertinent area;
• Define and put in place, according to goals & target, plans and actions in order to meet target regarding sales, revenue, operating margin, retention, quality of service in the F&B sector;
• Develop local market and promote and improve relationships with Customers of assigned territory;
• Support F&B Sales Manager Italy in analyzing F&B market trend information, related to selected territory, to recommend changes to practices and policies and improve market positioning;
• Facilitate credit collection from customers;
• Ensure a continuous presence in the market of assigned unit;
• Cooperate with other colleagues, both inside food sector and outside, in a Teamwork approach;
• Salary range 42.000,00-50.000,00 as gross salary per year.

About You

• Educated to business or scientific university degree level
• Previous experience of minimum 3 years working in sales and customer management and a strong business sense
• Knowledge of certification services, especially in Food Industry will be considered a preferential requirement
• Italian mother tongue and Fluent English (both written and spoken)
• Experience in CERTIFICATION BODY
• Strong commercial attitude, dynamic, goals-oriented, proactive approach
• High level of business acumen, including an understanding of the customer’s business drivers, industry, economic trends, issues and competition
• Availability to travel
