Job summary

Park IP, a Welo Globalbrand, seeks a Spanish Patent Language Lead to translate, copy-edit and review complex patent and legal materials from English into Spanish, ensuring the highest quality for clients. You will coordinate with Quality, Program Squads, Talent, vendors and stakeholders to deliver precise language support within budget.

The role requires native Spanish, fluent English, 8+ years in translation/localization, plus strong CAT tool experience (XTM, SDL Studio) and ability to train

Qualifications

• University degree in Translation/Applied Languages or equivalent.
• 8+ years in translation/localization/editing or content writing.
• 5+ years of review experience and translation with patent knowledge.
• Native-level Spanish and fluent English (written and spoken).
• Experience with CAT tools (XTM, SDL Studio) and Jira.

Responsibilities

• Perform copy-edit and on-demand translation tasks on patent/legal materials.
• Lead linguist role on assigned accounts and coordinate deliveries.
• Prepare and maintain language materials, glossaries and style guides.
• Coordinate with freelancers, vendors, and internal linguists.
• Train internal linguists and freelancers; ensure on-time, quality deliverables.
• Interact with clients on linguistic matters; participate in process improvements.
