Job summary

Welo Global is recruiting a Financial Accountant to join its multinational European Finance team. The ideal candidate will be self-starting, well-organised, and able to prioritise with a strong focus on quality, teamwork and meeting global deadlines.

Excellent English communication skills are essential, with experience in a multi-currency and international context. The role covers monthly financial statements, regulatory filings, payroll reporting, transfer pricing, and IFRS/FRS102 knowledge.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Workday would be an advantage (or similar ERP software).
• Proficient MS Excel skills (use of pivot tables, excellent knowledge of formulas).
• Knowledge, understanding and application of EU VAT regulation and reporting.
• Accounting qualification - newly qualified or experienced with 2-3 years of working in similar environment.
• Ability to work in an international remote team.
• Qualified Accountant.

Responsibilities

• Own the entire financial reporting cycle for multiple European legal entities with monthly statements.
• Prepare revenue and regulatory filings, including US GAAP and local statutory requirements.
• Manage outsource payroll providers and local payroll/employer tax reporting monthly.
• Coordinate Global Transfer Pricing with external providers for annual TP documentation per country.
• Provide data for multi-currency working capital planning (weekly, monthly, forecasts).
• Prepare and analyze Trial Balance and Financial Statements; review and report monthly results.
• Assist in audits and corporate tax compliance; liaise with team leads on requirements.
• Contribute to ad hoc accounting projects with the wider Accounting team.

Job Overview

We are looking for a Financial Accountant to join our multinational, multi-currency European Finance team. The ideal candidate must be a self-starter, organised and flexible. Main Responsibilities

• Strong Financial Accounting knowledge with robust experience in preparing monthly financial statements as this position will own the entire financial reporting cycle for multiple European legal entities
• Revenue and regulatory filings, both US Gaap and local statutory
• Management of outsource payroll providers, local payroll and employer taxes reporting monthly
