Carl Zeiss AG in Milan is seeking a Software Sales Manager for Research Quality Solutions to accelerate growth of the PIWEB software across Italy and Italian-speaking Switzerland, owning the full sales cycle from prospecting to close.

You will develop the Italian market, engage diverse stakeholders, translate software value into measurable benefits, and work with pre-sales and project teams on multi-plant opportunities.

Competenze

• Technical or scientific educational background.
• 8+ years in enterprise software sales related to manufacturing, quality, data, and processes.
• Strong knowledge of industrial IT ecosystems and data integrations.
• Consultative approach with stakeholders (COO, CEO, IT, Operations).
• Team-oriented in project environments and client management.
• Excellent listening, negotiation and end-to-end account management skills.

Mansioni

• Managing the full sales cycle of the PIWEB software solution.
• Developing the Italian market, including Italian-speaking Switzerland as the launch region for EMEA expansion.
• Identifying new high-potential customers across industrial sectors.
• Leading complex decision-making with stakeholders from Operations, Quality, IT and top management.
• Applying value-selling, translating capabilities into customer benefits.
