Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Alessandria is seeking a Site Inventory & IT Manager to lead 3 Super Users and 2 Inventory Operators, drive WMS performance, and ensure high stock accuracy. You will coordinate IT-related activities with Operations and customer teams, and contribute to system enhancements and process improvements.

The role emphasizes hands-on WMS management, KPI monitoring, and cross-functional collaboration to sustain service levels and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in logistics, warehouse, inventory or supply chain management.
• Experience managing operational teams.
• Experience with multinational customers and/or retail operations.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse and supply chain operations.
• Hands-on WMS experience.
• Analytical and reporting skills, including Excel.
• IT support processes and warehouse systems experience.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication.
• Excellent organizational and planning abilities.
• Results-oriented with operational excellence.
• English fluent.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize the site's Warehouse Management System (WMS) and supporting operational systems.
• Oversee all Inventory Control processes, including cycle counts, stock reconciliations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Maintain high levels of Stock Accuracy and inventory integrity.
• Monitor and report on KPI, including inventory accuracy, productivity, operational exceptions, and system performance.
• Coordinate resolution of operational and system-related issues, ensuring timely escalation when required.
• Partner with Operations, Customer teams, and central functions to deliver excellent service levels.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across warehouse processes, inventory control, and system utilization.
• Participate in system implementation, testing, process design, and change.

We are looking for a Site Inventory & IT Manager in Alessandria (Start up WH)

This role is critical in ensuring inventory accuracy, WMS performance, operational continuity, and customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will act as the key link between Operations, Inventory Control, IT support functions, and the customer, driving performance and continuous improvement across the site. The role includes people management responsibilities and active participation in the implementation and optimization of the site's WMS platform.

What we need from you:

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a logistics, warehouse, inventory, or supply chain management environment.
• Proven experience managing operational teams.
• Experience working with multinational customers and/or retail operations is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse and supply chain operations.
• Hands-on experience with WMS
• Strong expertise in Inventory Control, Stock Accuracy, and inventory reconciliation processes.
• Advanced analytical and reporting skills, including Excel.
• Good understanding of IT support processes and operational systems within a warehouse environment
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Salary Package: €35,000 - €40,000 gross annual salary
