Job summary

TESA SE in Milan is seeking a Logistics Specialist to ensure on-time execution of regional and central warehouse processes, including inbound, outbound, inventory, and cost control.

You will monitor provider performance, manage claims, and contribute to CIP initiatives while supporting cost-saving ideas; travel occasionally to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of logistics experience in a multinational company.
• Strong written and spoken English (C1 level or higher).
• University degree, preferably in Supply Chain; APICS certification is a plus.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Execute on-time logistics processes in regional warehouses (Inbound Management; Inventory Count; Inventory Rework & Disposal).
• Execute on-time logistics processes in regional & central warehouses (Outbound Management; Returns Management; Tax, Custom, Legal; LVL CIP).
• Monitor Logistics Provider Performance and prepare KPIs for assigned set of countries.
• Handle and follow up on Logistics claims and cost control by summarizing invoiced costs.
• Monitor pallets and containers in the BMS tool and initiate corrective actions; support CIP initiatives.
• Contribute to the regional logistics expert community and implement guidelines and CIP initiatives.

Job description

Enable a high quality and professional logistics process in assigned scope by on time full execution of Logistics activities. Contribute to the European continuous improvement journey and participate in European logistics expert community.

Position content (core accountabilities, strategic responsibilities, key activities):

• Execute on time Logistics processes in regional warehouses (e.g., Inbound Management; Inventory Count; Inventory Rework & Disposal)
• Execute on time Logistics processes in regional & central warehouses (e.g., Outbound Management (end customer distribution); Returns Management; Tax, Custom, Legal (E.G. Intrastat, ADR, LTSD); Logistics Value Added Services)
• Monitor Logistics Provider Performance (Regional WHs + overall distribution) and prepare KPIs for assigned set of countries
• Handle and follow up on Logistics claims
• Perform Logistics cost control by summarizing invoiced costs and reporting to regional SC team and regional controlling
• Monitor pallets and containers in the BMS tool EPAL accountancy maintenance, review the pooling return rate regularly and initiate corrective actions when needed
• Contribute to the regional logistics expert community and implement provided the guidelines and CIP initiatives in assigned scope
• Actively generate and implement ideas for internal process optimization and logistics cost savings (First Time Right Methodology)

Compensation package range: from 40.000 € to 50.000 € gross

Location: Milan (preferred) or Barcelona

University degree or equivalent knowledge, with preferred Supply Chain specialization (APICS certification as a plus)

3+ years of experience in a logistics role within a matrix organized multinational company

Mandatory: good written and spoken English (C1 level or higher)

Strong in analytical and logical thinking

Ability to work under pressure, meeting tough deadlines

Ability to work in a multi-cultural and virtual environment

Motivated to collaborate in an international environment, with the willingness to occasionally travel
