Silversea is seeking a Pastry Chef to lead shipboard pastry and bakery production, delivering high-quality, efficient and guest-focused pastries under strict health standards. You will manage daily production for all service periods, oversee showpieces, and accommodate dietary requirements while optimizing cost-efficiency.

You will supervise a pastry team, ensure sanitation readiness and temperature logging, and contribute to menu planning and quality improvements on a luxury international

Competenze

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar pastry leadership position within an international 5-star hospitality establishment.
• Certification: Valid STCW95 certification.
• Exceptional knowledge of international cuisine, advanced pastry and baking fundamentals, strong attention to detail, and awareness of current culinary trends.
• Strong working knowledge of Public Health policies, sanitation procedures, and temperature logging.

• Oversee pastry and bakery production for all service periods and events, ensuring high quality and cost control.
• Train, supervise, and onboard pastry team members to enhance technical skills and hospitality standards.
• Maintain strict sanitation and health inspections readiness, including temperature logging and equipment safety.
• Participate in menu planning, standard recipe manuals, and inventory control to minimize waste.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and communicate with executive leadership on operational challenges and achievements.
