Job summary

Generative Bionics S.r.l. in Genova, Italy, seeks an ICT Security Engineer to design, implement, and manage cybersecurity controls across IT and cloud environments for robotics-driven operations.

You will participate in threat detection, incident response, and vulnerability management while collaborating with cross-functional teams to strengthen security posture and ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of cybersecurity engineering experience.
• Experience securing cloud-based services and IT infrastructure.
• Proficient in incident response and vulnerability management.
• Strong English communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, administer, and maintain cybersecurity controls across IT infrastructure, cloud platforms, and digital workplace environments.
• Assist in threat detection, incident analysis, containment, eradication, recovery, and lessons learned.
• Automate security operations and routine tasks with scripting and workflows.
• Support deployment and hardening of cybersecurity tools and IT platforms.
• Assist IT to secure Microsoft components including endpoint, identity, cloud, email, and collaboration security.
• Maintain vulnerability management processes and reporting.
• Handle Identity and Access Management and privileged access reviews.
• Develop security monitoring dashboards and log analytics.
• Contribute expertise in security projects, deployments, audits, and remediation.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 27001, NIST CSF, CIS, NIS2, and Cyber Resilience Act.
• Stay informed on threats and security technologies relevant to robotics and industrial contexts.
