Brainfield Italia is seeking aSenior Process Engineer for its plant in Albese con Cassano (Como), to drive scaling of processes and complete the PDP with R&D and Operations teams.

The role focuses on process design, optimization, and collaboration with licensors and EPC contractors to advance cutting-edge chemical recycling technology.

Competenze

• 5–10 years of prior experience as a process engineer in a related field or with other licensors.
• Proven experience in the engineering and management of chemical plants.
• Knowledge of key international engineering standards.
• Experience in the design of complex chemical processes (reactor design, separation processes, heat exchangers, and solids/slurry handling).

Mansioni

• Oversee experimental design and validate instrumentation.
• Generate and analyze data to monitor plant performance, identify bottlenecks and critical parameters, and propose tests to find solutions.
• Develop scalable solutions of interest to licensors, primarily EPC contractors and other industrial entities in the sector.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure process improvements are communicated and implemented across the organization.
• Identify and develop improvement solutions focused on energy savings, material and cost optimization, increased process reliability, and reduced environmental impact.
• Supervise junior colleagues, ensuring tasks are executed correctly and individual skill sets are enhanced.
• Collaborate with potential new suppliers and/or third parties to continuously improve proprietary technology and the production process.

For a growing deep-tech client company in the PET depolymerization sector, we are seeking a Senior Process Engineer for the plant of Albese con Cassano (Como).

The role involves responsibility for process scalability and completing the Process Design Package (PDP) in collaboration with R&D and Operations teams.

Responsibilies

• Oversee experimental design and identify potential operational issues, ensuring the validation of instrumentation
• Generate and analyze significant amounts of data to monitor plant performance, identify bottlenecks and critical parameters, and propose tests to find solutions and remedies
• Develop scalable solutions of interest to major industry licensors, primarily EPC contractors and other industrial entities in the sector
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure process improvements are communicated and implemented across the organization
• Identify and develop improvement solutions focused on energy savings, material and cost optimization, increased process reliability, and reduced environmental impact
