Brainfield Italia is seeking a Senior Pilot Plant Process Engineer for the Albese con Cassano plant to drive process scalability and complete the PDP in collaboration with R&D and Operations teams.

The role entails ownership of the pilot plant assets, safe, continuous operation, and data-driven optimization of complex chemical processes, including reactor design, separations, and heat exchangers.

Competenze

• 5-8 years of prior experience as a process engineer in chemical production or engineering/licensing sectors.
• Experience in engineering and management of chemical plants.
• Knowledge of key international engineering standards.
• Experience in designing complex chemical processes (reactors, separations, heat exchangers, solids/slurry handling).

• Design and execute experimental campaigns, collect and analyze data, and identify performance bottlenecks.
• Own pilot plant assets, ensuring safe, continuous and reliable operation.
• Manage procurement of spare parts, equipment, and materials for day-to-day operations.

For a growing deep-tech client company in the PET depolymerization sector, we are seeking a Senior Pilot Plant Process Engineer for the plant of Albese con Cassano (Como).

The role involves responsibility for process scalability and completing the Process Design Package (PDP) for the main plant in collaboration with R&D and Operations teams.

Responsibilies

• Design and execution of the experimental campaigns, performing data acquisition and analysis, interpreting of experimental data, assessing system performance and identify operational bottleneck and critical parameters
• Technical ownership of the pilot plant assets, ensuring safe, continuous, and reliable fuctioning of the facility
• Managing the procurement of the spare parts, equipments, and materials for day-to-day operations
• Provide data to the Process Engineering group engaged in developing and delivering the licensor's PDP
• Active participation to project meetings and safety risks assessment carrying the practical experience built on pilot plant

Requirements

• 5-8 years of prior experience as a process engineer in for chemical production companies and/or in engineering/licensing companies
• Proven experience in the engineering and management of chemical plants
• Knowledge of key international engineering standards
• Experience in the design of complex chemical processes (specifically: reactor design, separation processes, heat exchangers, and solids/slurry handling)
