Brainfield Italia seeks a Senior Pilot Plant Process Engineer for its Albany-style plant in Albese con Cassano (Como). The role focuses on process scalability and completing the PDP for the main plant in collaboration with R&D and Operations teams.

Responsibilities include experimental campaigns, technical ownership of pilot plant assets, procurement, and delivering data to the PDP group, with active participation in project meetings and safety assessments.

Competenze

• 5–8 years of process engineering experience in chemical production or engineering/licensing firms.
• Proven ability to engineer and manage chemical plants.
• Knowledge of key international engineering standards.
• Experience in designing complex chemical processes (reactors, separations, heat exchangers, solids handling).

For a growing deep-tech client company in the PET depolymerization sector, we are seeking a Senior Pilot Plant Process Engineer for the plant of Albese con Cassano (Como).

The role involves responsibility for process scalability and completing the Process Design Package (PDP) for the main plant in collaboration with R&D and Operations teams.

Responsibilies

• Design and execution of the experimental campaigns, performing data acquisition and analysis, interpreting of experimental data, assessing system performance and identify operational bottleneck and critical parameters
• Technical ownership of the pilot plant assets, ensuring safe, continuous, and reliable fuctioning of the facility
• Managing the procurement of the spare parts, equipments, and materials for day-to-day operations
• Provide data to the Process Engineering group engaged in developing and delivering the licensor's PDP
• Active participation to project meetings and safety risks assessment carrying the practical experience built on pilot plant

Requirements

• 5-8 years of prior experience as a process engineer in for chemical production companies and/or in engineering/licensing companies
• Proven experience in the engineering and management of chemical plants
• Knowledge of key international engineering standards
• Experience in the design of complex chemical processes (specifically: reactor design, separation processes, heat exchangers, and solids/slurry handling)
