Greentalent, recruiting for a start-up with proprietary molecular recycling tech, seeks a Senior Process Engineer.

The candidate will lead process engineering, FEED supervision, and collaboration with R&D and operations to optimize energy, materials and costs for the depolymerization unit; travel may be required.

Competenze

• Master's degree or PhD in Chemical or Process Engineering.
• 10–12 years of experience as Process Engineer in chemical/energy sectors.
• Strong supervision and conceptual design capabilities.
• Knowledge of P&ID design, control philosophy, and chemical process simulation.
• Fluency in English; willingness to travel nationally and internationally.
• Ability to lead teams and manage milestones and objectives.

Mansioni

• Coordinate and supervise process engineering activities for industrialization and licensing (Process Design Package).
• Perform basic engineering (BFD, PFD, P&ID, HMB) for the depolymerization unit.
• Collaborate with R&D and operations to generate data for PD Package and equipment selection.
• Supervise activities during FEED.
• Manage relationships with EPC contractors, technology providers, OEMs, and end-users.
• Continuously improve process energy, materials, productivity, costs, and reliability.
• Supervise startup and performance tests at customer sites.

Greentalent, recruiter specialized in search and selection of professionals and managers in the Energy, Engineering and Environment market, on behalf of a start-up which has developed an innovative proprietary technology for molecular recycling of plastic waste, is looking for a:

Senior Process Engineer

The ideal candidate holds a university degree in Chemical Engineering and has a relevant experience in engineering companies, EPC contractors or licensors operating in the chemical industry.

The selected person will be placed in a dynamic environment and he/she will play a pivotal role within the Process Engineering team.

Key responsibilities:

• Coordinate and supervise the process engineering activities related to the industrialization of company’s chemical recycling process and its licensing to future customers (Process Design Package);
• Basic engineering (BFD, PFD, P&ID, H&MB, etc.) of chemical recycling plant, in particular for the company’s core depolymerization unit;
• Collaborate with R&D and operations to generate consistent experimental data for the company’s Process Design Package and for the selection of the right equipment and technologies
• Supervision of activities during the FEED;
• Management of relationships with key engineering stakeholders (EPC contractor, Technology Providers, OEM , end-users, etc.);
• Continuously develop and improve the process in terms of energy and material consumption, productivity, costs, plant reliability, product quality, operability, constructability, footprint
• Supervision of start-up and performance tests activities of the first industrial reactor at customer's plant site.

Requirements:

• Master's degree or PhD in Chemical or Process Engineering;
• 10-12 years of specific experience as Process Engineer in engineering companies and/or licensors operating in the chemical/energy industry;
• Deep understanding of process engineering, to supervise the process of conceptual design and implementation of the company’s innovative process;
• Practical Knowledge of P&ID design, control philosophy design, chemical process simulation
• Ability to supervise/lead individuals or a project team to achieve milestones and objectives by setting priorities and providing direction;
• Excellent knowledge of English;
• Availability to travel on national and international territory;
• The profile is completed by characteristics of flexibility, resourcefulness and by relational and communicative skills.
