Mcdermott International is seeking a Senior Principal Project Engineer in Italy to lead complex engineering projects across the lifecycle. You will guide execution, manage resources, and ensure design quality within policy and standards.

You will influence contract alignment, supervise project engineers, and collaborate with PMT, clients, and cross-functional teams across international MOPEX projects.

Competenze

• 15-20 years in Project Engineering.
• 5-10 years as Project Engineering Manager on multiple projects.
• Experience in MOPEX execution, JV/Consortium projects.
• Experience in Brownfield and Greenfield projects.
• Hands-on field assignment experience.
• Ability to read and understand contractual documentation.

Mansioni

• Manage the engineering scope and ensure deliverables meet contract requirements
• Develop and implement the Project Execution Plan and MOPEX execution where applicable
• Coordinate with Engineering and Design Leads; guide Project Engineers and discipline leads
• Prepare proposals, manage cost/schedule/budget, and support tender activities
• Lead communications: meetings, technical queries, RFIs, deviations, and documentation
• Oversee handover, closeout, and lessons learned; ensure proper archiving and reporting
• Interface with PMT, clients, and cross-functional teams on technical matters
• Anticipate business challenges and contribute to process improvements
• Promote safety in designs and engineering processes
• Review contractual documentation and ensure alignment with project goals
• Develop staffing plans and manage project engineering documents
