Energy Dome is seeking an experienced Project Director to lead full-scope EPC projects in Milan, ensuring alignment across development, engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning. This role requires strong leadership and technical oversight while managing critical site issues and achieving contractual milestones.

The position offers a gross annual salary of €290,000–€110,000 plus performance variables, stock options, and travel/site allowances.

About the Role

As we expand our international footprint, we are strengthening our project execution capabilities and are looking for an experienced Project Director to lead full-scope EPC projects from development through commissioning and handover. Location: Milan based with frequent travels, globally. Reports to: Chief Operating Officer.

Key Responsibilities (excerpt)

• Project Leadership & Accountability: Full P&L; lead from permitting/pre-construction through commissioning/handover; align development/engineering/procurement/construction/commissioning; escalation point.
• Engineering & Technical Oversight: Coordinate civil/mechanical/electrical/process/control systems; ensure technical coherence; oversee design reviews, risk assessments, value engineering; embed constructability and commissioning readiness.
• Construction & Site Management: Oversee on-site activities; supervise EPC contractors and key subcontractors; monitor progress; manage change orders; resolve critical site issues; meet contractual milestones.
• Commissioning & Handover: Lead strategy/execution; ensure testing/validation/performance verification; manage documentation and client handover; achieve contractual guarantees.
