McDermott International, Ltd. in Italy is seeking a Senior Principal Project Engineer to solve complex engineering challenges and guide project teams across international assignments.

The role requires extensive experience in project engineering, strong leadership, and the ability to manage scope, cost, and schedules while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance on multi-office projects.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering.
• 15–20 years of Project Engineering experience with 5–10 years as a Project Engineering Manager.
• Preferably registered engineer in training (EIT) or member of a professional engineering society as applicable.
• Experience with multi-office MOPEX execution and international projects.
• Ability to read and analyze contractual documents and support proposals.

Mansioni

• Manage the engineering scope of a McDermott project.
• Establish and implement project procedures to ensure deliverables meet quality and contract requirements.
• Manage the technical execution to support the business considerations of the project.
• May be assigned as Project Manager for smaller projects.
• Support the preparation of proposals for prospective projects.
• Practice and promote safety in designs and work processes.
• Coordinate with Engineering and Design Leads on the project.
• Develop and implement the Project Execution Plan (including MOPEX).
• Ensure effective communication among engineering disciplines and with clients.
