McDermott in Rome, Italy seeks a Senior Principal Project Engineer to lead complex engineering tasks with broad business impact. You will guide project planning, execution, and coordination across offices, ensuring high-quality deliverables while maintaining safety and compliance.

The role requires extensive project engineering leadership, hands-on management of multi-office teams, and a strong ability to resolve unique technical challenges that influence project direction.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering is required.
• 15-20 years of Project Engineering experience with 5-10 years as a Project Engineering Manager on multiple projects.
• Preferably Registered Engineer in Training (ElT) or member of a professional engineering society.
• Demonstrated broad technical knowledge of detailed design engineering codes, standards and procedures.

• Manage the engineering scope of a McDermott project.
• Establish and implement project procedures to ensure deliverables meet quality and technical content requirements.
• Coordinate with Engineering and Design Leads and provide direction to the project team.
• Prepare and review proposals, reports, and technical queries; manage cost, schedule, and budget controls.
