ams OSRAM in Corbetta, Lombardy, Italy is seeking a senior leader for HF analog circuit design in broadband optical ICs. You will define methodologies and lead critical analog and mixed‑signal developments, while driving transmitter and receiver architectures.

The ideal candidate holds MSc or PhD in Electrical Engineering with 15+ years of analog IC experience, deep knowledge of PLLs, CDRs, ADCs/DACs, and FinFET/FD‑SOI nodes, and a proven ability to mentor engineers and lead design reviews.

Your tasks

• Company-wide expert in HF analog circuit design for broadband optical communication ICs, responsible for defining methodologies and leading critical analog developments
• Lead design of high-performance analog and mixed-signal circuits
• Drive innovation in transmitter and receiver architectures
• Establish analog design methodologies
• Lead technical reviews and sign-off decisions
• Mentor senior engineers and technical leaders

Who we are looking for

• MSc or PhD in Electrical Engineering
• 15+ years analog IC design experience
• Broadband optical communication IC design knowledge, including HF amplifiers, TIAs, drivers and receiver/transmitter front-end requirements; HF layout knowledge is an advantage
• PLLs, CDRs, ADCs and DACs
• Signal integrity, noise, jitter and parasitic-aware design analysis
• Advanced CMOS node experience, including FinFET and/or FD-SOI, is required
