ams OSRAM in Italy seeks a senior analog IC design leader with 15+ years of experience to define methodologies and drive high-speed broadband optical front-end developments.

You will mentor engineers, lead design of analog and mixed-signal circuits, review architectures and sign off critical projects, working in a strong technical leadership role.

Competenze

• Must hold MSc or PhD in Electrical Engineering.
• Extensive analog IC design experience (15+ years).
• Deep knowledge of broadband optical ICs and HF front-end requirements.

• Own and define analog design methodologies for broadband optical ICs.

Your tasks

• Company-wide expert in HF analog circuit design for broadband optical communication ICs, responsible for defining methodologies and leading critical analog developments
• Lead design of high-performance analog and mixed-signal circuits
• Drive innovation in transmitter and receiver architectures
• Establish analog design methodologies
• Lead technical reviews and sign-off decisions
• Mentor senior engineers and technical leaders

Who we are looking for

• MSc or PhD in Electrical Engineering
• 15+ years analog IC design experience
• Broadband optical communication IC design knowledge, including HF amplifiers, TIAs, drivers and receiver/transmitter front-end requirements; HF layout knowledge is an advantage
• PLLs, CDRs, ADCs and DACs
• Signal integrity, noise, jitter and parasitic-aware design analysis
• Advanced CMOS node experience, including FinFET and/or FD-SOI, is required
