ams OSRAM is seeking a senior expert in analog IC design for broadband optical communication applications. You will lead the design of high-performance analog and mixed-signal blocks, drive innovation in transmitter and receiver architectures, and establish robust design methodologies.

The role requires 15+ years of experience, MSc/PhD in Electrical Engineering, and strong knowledge of HF amplifiers, TIAs, PLLs, CDRs, ADCs, DACs, and signal integrity.

Your tasks

• Company-wide expert in HF analog circuit design for broadband optical communication ICs, responsible for defining methodologies and leading critical analog developments
• Lead design of high-performance analog and mixed-signal circuits
• Drive innovation in transmitter and receiver architectures
• Establish analog design methodologies
• Lead technical reviews and sign-off decisions
• Mentor senior engineers and technical leaders

Who we are looking for

• MSc or PhD in Electrical Engineering
• 15+ years analog IC design experience
• Broadband optical communication IC design knowledge, including HF amplifiers, TIAs, drivers and receiver/transmitter front-end requirements; HF layout knowledge is an advantage
• PLLs, CDRs, ADCs and DACs
• Signal integrity, noise, jitter and parasitic-aware design analysis
• Advanced CMOS node experience, including FinFET and/or FD-SOI, is required
